Wear me so many ways.  Take me anywhere.

The convertible can be worn in a number of ways…it’s all about where you position the dress and where the straps are positioned (i.e. side, front or back). 

Try one of these fun styles, or come up with something new and exciting on your own!  The possibilities are endless.

 


One-shoulder
  • Position the seam on your left side, below the underarm.

  •  Wrap the back strap around your back, and up over your right shoulder

  • Wrap the front strap in front over the left side of your chest, and up to meet the back strap.

  • Fasten the straps into a square knot, and leave the ends long and free.


Side-tie strapless
  • Position the seam on your left side, below the underarm. 

  • Wrap the back strap around your back

  • Wrap the front strap in front, over the bust.

  • Fasten the straps into a square knot above your chest, and leave the ends long and free.


Cap-sleeved
  • Position the seam in the center of your back. 

  • Crisscross the straps in back and bring the right strap up over your right shoulder

  • Bring the left strap up and over the left shoulder

  • Bring both shoulder straps down and under the arms and towards the back, creating a cap sleeve.

  • Secure the straps in a back with a knot.

  • Arrange the fabric of the ‘sleeves’ to your liking.


Cross-over halter
  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring both straps to the front, over each breast and cross them in front.

  • Continue with the straps over your shoulders and secure with a knot in back.


Off-shoulder crisscross
  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring both straps to the front, across each breast and cross them in front.
    Continue with the straps over your shoulders and secure with a knot in back.

  • Arrange the fabric down the tops of the arms to create a sleeve-like effect.

 


Twisted shoulder kiss
  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring both straps to the front, across each breast and twist them around each other above the center of your décolleté.

  • Continue with the straps over the tops of your shoulders and secure with a knot in back.

  • Arrange the fabric down the tops of the arms to your liking.

Twisted 3-wrap strapless

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Tightly twist both straps, while wrapping them around your torso three times.

  • Secure with a knot on the front-side.

 

Twisted halter

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Tightly twist both straps, and bring them to the front under each breast.

  • Cross the twisted straps in the middle, then take them behind the neck.

  • Secure with a knot or bow behind the neck.

 

Wrapped strapless

  • Position the seam on your left side, below the underarm. 

  • Bring the front strap towards the center of your body and down towards the natural waist.

  • Bring the back strap around your back and down towards the right hip.

  • Continue wrapping the straps, crossing them over each other.

  • Fasten with a square knot at the right hip.

 

Twisted figure-8 strapless

  • Position the seam in the front, centered between your bust.

  • Take straps across the bust and  to the back; cross straps, bringing both back to the front under your bust.

  • Twist once between your bust and take the straps over your bust to the back again.

  • Secure with a knot or bow in back.

 

Knotted strapless

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Leaving about 6” to 8” from the seam, make three knots in each strap.  Leave  a 2”-3” between each knot..

  • Wrap the knotted straps across your torso under your bust, and back to the back.

  • Secure straps with a knot in back.

 

Casual over-the shoulder

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring both straps up and over your shoulders and tie loosely above the bust.

Wide one-shoulder wrap

  • Position the seam on your right side, below the underarm. 

  • Bring the front strap up and over your left shoulder, positioning the fabric widely.  Bring the end of the strap back and under your left arm.

  • Bring the back strap around in front under the bust.

  • Secure straps together with a side knot or bow.

 

Off-shoulder V-neck

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring both straps up and over your shoulders.

  • Cross them at the center of your torso, creating a deep V, and take the straps to the back.

  • Fasten the straps in back with a knot or bow.

  • Arrange the fabric so it lays widely and smoothly over your arms.

 

Grecian strapless

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Bring straps to the front under the bust and make a single twist towards the right side.

  • Take the straps to the back, and cross them, bringing them back to the front, slightly lower then the first time.

  • Secure with a knot in front.

 

Twisted strapless

  • Position the seam in the center of your back.

  • Tightly twist both straps, while wrapping them around your torso twice.

  • Secure with a bow on the front-side.

 

Off-shoulder front-seam

  • Position the seam in the front, centered between your bust.

  • Take straps towards the back over the tops of your arms.

  • Secure with a knot or bow in back.

  • Arrange the fabric down your arms as you like.

 

Upside down

  • Feeling racy?  This one’s for you!  Step into the dress upside down, with the band top at the bottom and the seam at the side of your right leg.

  • Gather the ends of the loose fabric, and tie a knot over your left shoulder to secure the dress.

  • Wraps the straps away from the seam around your legs, and secure with a knot or bow.

 

 
Side-tie skirt
  • Bring the dress to your low waist as a skirt and position the seam in back.

  • Wrap the straps around your waist, and tie towards the side.

  • Leave the ends long and draped.


 

Twisted-tie skirt

  • Bring the dress to your low waist as a skirt and position the seam at the side.

  • Wrap the straps towards each other in front and twist them in the middle of your abdomen and immediately take them towards the back again.

  • Crossing in the back, wrap straps again towards the front, fastening them with a side-tie.

One-shoulder tie

  • Position the dress so that the straps are in the front

  • Pull the left strap up over the shoulder and pull the right strap across the bustline to the left and under the left arm

  • Pull straps together at top of shoulder and secure with a half-bow or knot and allow straps to drape down in front

 

Strapless tie-front

  • Position dress with straps in the back

  • Crisscross straps and bring them around waist to front

  • Secure with knot or half-knot on the side under bustline

 

Cap-sleeved

  • Position the seam in the center of your back. 

  • Wrap the back strap around your back, and up over your right shoulder

  • Wrap the front strap in front over the left side of your chest.

  • Secure the straps in a pretty knot in front.

 

Crisscross tie-front

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front

  • Cross straps and pull over breasts to create rouching effect

  • Continue bringing straps around back and then back to front

  • Secure with a knot in the middle under bustline

 

Off- Shoulder crisscross

  • Position the dress so that the straps are in the front

  • Bring both straps straight up, over each breast and cross them in front and continue over your shoulders and secure with a knot in the back

  • Pull fabric down and off-shoulder to finish the look

 

Knotted Strapless

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front

  • Tie a square knot of a bow in the front

  • Allow straps to drape down the front

 

Knotted halter

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front

  • Tie the straps in a square knot and pull them up around your neck

  • Secure with a knot in the back of your neck

 

Twisted v-neck

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front

  • Tightly twist both straps and pull them straight up and secure with knot behind neck

 

  • Twisted Cross Neck

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front

  • Tightly twist both straps, crisscross them in front and secure with knot behind neck.

 

Asymmetrical off-shoulder

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front.

  • Crisscross straps and bring one strap to the side, allowing fabric to lie flat against your chest

  • Bring the other strap up over your shoulder

  • Pull both straps to the back and secure with a knot

 

Marilyn Monroe

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front. 

  • Pull straps straight up over chest

  • Tie behind neck in bow or knot

 

Keyhole tie-neck

  • Position the dress with the ties in the front. 

  • Tie the straps in a square knot leaving a keyhole space and then pull them up around your neck

  • Secure with a knot in the back of your neck

 

One Shoulder-Twist

  • Position the straps on the side of your dress. 

  • Tightly twist both straps pulling one over the front diagonally and one over the back diagonally

  • Secure with knot on the side of the neck

 

 

Twisted-tie skirt

  • Bring the dress to your low waist as a skirt and position the straps in the front.

  • Wrap the straps towards each other in front and twist them in the middle of your abdomen and immediately take them towards the back again.

  • Crossing the straps in back and secure with a knot on the back waistband

 

  • Tie-Front skirt

  • Bring the dress to your low waist as a skirt and position the straps in the front.

  • Tie the straps in a square knot or half knot

  • Leave the ends long and draped.

 


The Grecian Upside Down Top
  • Feeling racy?  This one’s for you!  Step into the dress upside down, with the band top at the bottom and the straps at the side of your waist

  • Gather the ends of the loose fabric, and tie a knot over your left shoulder to secure the dress.

  • Wraps the straps away from the seam around your waist, and secure with a knot or bow.
